Fall Creek

Fall Creek is a beautiful little creek in
Ithaca.  These pictures are of the mile long section
between Flat Rock and Beebee lake.
Its my favorate spring training run.

Mike running the far right sneak at high water.
According to Barry Butterfield this can also be run
from a left boof at high H20.  I think he's crazy.
Stay out of the fold in the middle unless running at low
H20.  I affectionately call this rapid "Bust a cap" since
the first time I ran it in my RPM I broke off the stern cap.

This drop is right under the bridge and is a 10' drop
onto a hard flat slab of concrete.  Run it in a short boat
at very high H20 and try to keep your nose up.
I call this bad boy "On your toes".
There is a sick hole 30 feet in front of the drop that I'm
going to check at low H20 for rebar and other hazards
before playing in.
