Disclaimer:

No not run the Bottom Moose using these
illustrations as your sole guidance.
The Bottom Moose is a dangerous river and
should not be attempted by paddlers
who are not solid Class V paddlers.
Several of the pictures depict me in a play
boat running lines that are not standard
lines and are not safe conservative lines.
If you're gonna run the moose, find someone
who knows the lines.  The Bottom is
Class V and the consequences of swimming
can be fatal.  Playboats are not advised
at levels above 3 feet as the holes get nastier.
You should run it the first couple times
in a high volume creek boat until you
are comfortable with the river.
